Chills and Thrills Blues Band is not a typical blues band! We play a wide variety of songs from Blues legends, lesser known, but very talented blues artists and great rock bands that originated as blues bands... We also throw in some country, country blues and rock to round out our unique, foot stomping sets- guaranteed to get you off your feet.

Founded by Bob Kornfeld the current line up was formed late 2019. This dynamic four piece band features Bob Kornfeld on drums, Joe Corridore on guitar, Paul Iannocone on bass and Andy Spadafina on vocals.

Robert Kornfeld, Drums

Bob is a native of Brooklyn, New York. He discovered a love of music at a very young age and began drum lessons at the age of 8. By the age of 13, he was playing in a band and performing at local parties. He continued playing in bands all the way through high school and college. Upon graduation, he entered the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and sadly put his drums aside "temporarily".... That temporary period lasted until 7 years ago when he began writing songs and having them professionally produced. But his love of playing in a band won out and he joined a rock band in 2017, That was short lived as Bob's love of the Blues drove him to start his own band with other lovers of the Blues...thus he founded the Chills and Thrills Blues Band

Joseph Corridore, Guitar

Joe started playing guitar at an early age but became bored with beginner lessons, until his teens when he was introduced to Led Zeppelin by a high school friend. That was the spark he needed to get going again... he spent the next few years learning as much as possible and started playing with local bands and finally an original band until the early 80's. That's when family and career took centerstage. In early 2000's he decided to get back on the horse and formed the Zeppelin Tribute band Prezence with long time friend and bass player Tom,  which played local venues for a couple of years. After that project ended Tom  talked him into starting a new cover band... which after years of member changes became known as Backtrax in the mid 2000's... playing shows at Bald Hill amphitheater and Huntington's Chapin stage among other popular LI venues. After a good run the band had run it's course and looking for something different came across an ad for a blues guitarist.

Joe is an architect by trade... but now is playing the blues with Chills and Thrills Blues Band and looking forward to getting back out there

JAY LUPETIN aka LOOP, HARMONICA VOCALS AND PERCUSSION

Jay was raised in Ossining, NY during the 1950's and 60's.  Woodstock and Fillmore East attendee who's early musical interests included the Stone's, Savoy Brown, John Mayall and all the great early Blues players. Surrounded by musical friends he started playing harmonica at the age 18. He's been associated with a few local bands over the past 2o years. J Loop is the newest (and oldest) member of the band, keeping the Blues alive!

Paul Iannacone, Bass

Paul , also known by his friends and family as "Ike" started playing bass in his late 20's after he realized he was born to play the Blues! He is an avid fan of Blues music as well as a love for Jazz Fusion and Funk. Ike is a proud member of the Fodera Guitar Family and can be seen playing one of his Fodera basses with the Chills and Thrills Blues Band. Ike is an Electrical Engineer by day and Blues man at night!

Andy Spadafina, Vocals

Growing up, music and singing always had Andy's attention. Coming from a musical family, he was always singing with them around the house. Although he never took any formal lessons he practiced all the time. It was always a hobby, just for fun! Later in life the opportunity came to be in two bands... a rock and roll band and a blues band playing at fairs, special events and local bars. In 2019 he was introduced to a new start up blues band, Chills and Thrills Blues Band. The band has a great variety of songs, good friends and great musicians and fun to be with. Andy is enjoying this new path and looking forward to their future journey together!
